We are looking for a Sports Dietician who understands how to combine the theory and practice of sports nutrition in high-performance sport. The aim is to provide our athletes with the best and most up-to-date scientific nutrition for important races and training camps without forgetting how important taste is for the daily mental state.&nbsp;You should love being on the road and cooking the necessary meals for athletes in a modern kitchen truck or hotel kitchen with creativity and according to the performance goals.Primary responsibilities include counseling individuals and groups on daily nutrition for performance; translating the latest scientific evidence into practical sports nutrition recommendations; preparing the necessary food at the races and in training camps.&nbsp;Duties and responsibilities:<ul><li>Assesses and analyzes dietary practices, body composition, and energy balance (intake and expenditure) of athletes in the context of athletic performance and health in cooperation with the team nutritionists</li><li>Counsels athletes on optimal nutrition for exercise training (match nutrition to training phases and goals), competition, recovery from exercise, weight management, hydration, immunity, disordered eating, travel and supplementation</li><li>Planning and preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner for the athletes at races and in training camps</li><li>Counsels athletes on achieving and maintaining a level of body mass, body fat, and muscle mass that is consistent with good health and good performance</li><li>Provides personalized meal and snack plans to promote achieving short- and long-term goals for athletic performance and good health</li><li>Coordinates nutritional care as a member of multidisciplinary sports medical/sports science teams</li><li>Collaborates with physician, coach and the nutrition department of the team</li><li>Recommends appropriate pre-, during, and post-exercise fluids and snacks for individual training, team practice and competition</li><li>Educates staff members and riders in food selection (grocery store tours, food storage) and food preparation (cooking classes)</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;Skills and abilities:<ul><li>At least 2 years experience in a similar position in high performance sports or Bachelor or/and master’s degree in sports dietetics</li><li>Excellent nutrition knowledge</li><li>Cooking qualities that are necessary to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner for high performance cyclists</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Fluent in English</li><li>Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others</li><li>Ability to accurately assess and evaluate energy balance</li><li>Self-motivation and ability to work independently</li><li>Excellent time management, organizational and record-keeping skills</li><li>Flexibility to adapt yourself to changing environments and to be creative</li><li>Working on weekends and public holidays possible</li></ul>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Please send your application (incl. salary expectations) to:&nbsp;Mrs Stefanie AmbrosDenk Pro Cycling GmbH &amp; Co.&nbsp;KGInnstraße&nbsp;1 6342&nbsp;NiederndorfAustriastefanieambros@pro-cycling-gmbh.de
