MANAGEMENT
Team Manager Ralph Denk
Ralph Denk started cycling as a kid and established himself in the junior ranks. He participated in the Bayern Rundfahrt and various six-day races. He won the Bavarian Champion title several times.
In 1996 Ralph Denk changed his career path and found a new challenge at SRAM. Four years later, he opened his own bike shop in Raubling, Bavaria. At the same time, he became involved in mountain bike racing, founding the "Giant Racing Team" in 2005, with which he won the overall 2006 World Cup and was runner-up at the World Championships.
His passion, however, remained road cycling and in 2007 he founded his own junior team, which today rides under the name "GRENKE - Auto Eder" and is one of the most successful talent factories in the world. The young riders have won several world championship titles - many successful professional careers have their roots in Ralph Denk's team.
In 2010, Ralph Denk launched another ambitious project: a new professional team. Within a short period of time, the team rose from the third division to become one of the world's best. The team is now in its 15th season (2010-2012: Team NetApp, 2013-2014: Team NetApp - Endura, 2015-2016: BORA - Argon 18, 2017-2024: BORA - hansgrohe, since 2024: Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe). Under the leadership of Ralph Denk, the team has won nearly 300 races, including the overall Giro d'Italia, stage wins in all the Grand Tours, and victories in the major classics. Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe is the only German team in the UCI WorldTour, the world's premier cycling league. With Red Bull as the new majority owner, CEO Ralph Denk's goal is to become the most attractive brand and the top address in professional cycling.
