Two weeks into the Vuelta a España, Red Bull – BORA - hansgrohe remains firmly in contention on the general classification. Jai Hindley sits fourth overall, while Giulio Pellizzari continues to impress in sixth place and in the white jersey. The team heads into the second rest day with both riders well positioned.
A key breakthrough came on the legendary Alto de l’Angliru, where Hindley delivered a controlled ride to take third place on the stage, and also move up the standings. Pellizzari crossed the line in sixth, strengthening his hold on white. The following day at La Farrapona, Hindley underlined his consistency once again. On another mountaintop finish, he gained ten seconds on Pidcock, edging closer to the podium. Pellizzari followed close behind, holding his position among the race’s elite and ensuring the team finished the second week’s mountain block with both riders well positioned in the GC.

With two riders inside the top six, the team can be satisfied with the opening fortnight of racing. Both Hindley and Pellizzari have shown consistency and the ability to perform on the toughest climbs. The final week now awaits, with more decisive mountain stages still to come.
