I love working with everyone in the team and to me it feels like a second family.
The partnership began in spectacular fashion. In his very first season with the team, Hindley claimed overall victory at the 2022 Giro d’Italia, securing the first Grand Tour title in the history of the German WorldTeam.
Jai has been one of the world’s best Grand Tour riders for many years.
He followed that success with a stage win and a day in the Yellow Jersey at the 2023 Tour de France. After finishing just 30 seconds short of the podium at the 2025 Vuelta a España, the 30-year-old returned to the Giro d’Italia this season to claim third overall and another Grand Tour podium.
With his consistency across three-week races, his experience and his role within the squad, Hindley has established himself as one of the key Grand Tour riders within Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe.
Zak Dempster, Chief of Sports at Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe, said: “Jai has been one of the world’s best Grand Tour riders for many years. What makes him so valuable to us goes beyond his results – he sets an important example for the whole team, particularly the next generation of Grand Tour riders. The fact that he has committed his future to our team is a strong statement.”
Red Bull – BORA – hansgrohe reinforces its commitment to continuity. Jai Hindley will continue to play a central role in the team’s Grand Tour ambitions in the years ahead. His importance extends well beyond his results on the road. Over the years, the Australian has become one of the defining personalities within the team and a key figure for emerging talents such as Giulio Pellizzari and Luke Tuckwell.
Jai Hindley said: “I’m super happy and grateful to extend my contract and continue my journey with Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe. I love working with everyone in the team and to me it feels like a second family. I have big personal ambitions, as does the team and I believe this is the right environment to continue to grow and progress. Thanks to the whole team for the continued trust."
